MAN Gearbox
MAN over the last few years have come over wholly to fitting the ZF Gearbox on the O.E production line.
Earlier models were fitted with the Eaton RTX series and then the Eaton 8209 and Eaton 8309 in the medium duty, the heavy duty fitting the Eaton RTSO17316A.
ZF gearboxes now used include the ZF S6850, S542, 16S151 and the ZF 16S181. The latest range of MAN vehicles now use the ZF AS-Tronic series 2 which takes the cab to a 2 pedal operation. |

MAN Differential
MAN for some years have worked with the EATON axle in many of their vehicles and then in the later years have switched to their own series of drivehead where all part numbers are pre-fixed by HY (e.g. HY1175)
Their units are both non-hub reduction and normal spiral bevel encompassing both single and tandem dive axles.
